V9103 Saturn 3
The coverage of satellites and the ability to receive channels is dependent on location. The Astra2 satellites located at 28.2 east of south carry SKY programming and can be received using the Glomex Sat Antennas anywhere within the ‘Blue Foot print’ as issued by Astra (See the Astra website for latest information www.ses-astra.com). Depending upon your location, you can select at the press of a button the Astra 2 North or Astra 2 South Satellite. The Glomex Satellite Systems are also able to track the HOTBIRD European Satellite that contains many Non-English Language programs.
To be able to receive scrambled channels such as Sky One, a suitable Sky Digital Receiver box must be connected to the Glomex Satellite Dish (not included) and a valid subscription card inserted. Some premium channels are ‘box specific ’ and a viewing card registered at a home address may not work when inserted into a different receiving box. There are companies that specialise in providing ‘portable ’viewing cards many of which can be found on the internet.
The Glomex Satellite Antennas feature a Radome manufactured from Vacuum formed plastic. Some companies use fibreglass which can weaken the signal received by up to 25%. The Radome is also coated with U.V protection for long term aesthetics and weatherproofing. Early morning condensation can cause signal problems on traditional Radomes, but the U.V coating on the Glomex products helps water to run off, keeping the Radome clear.
The V9103 combines high quality, reduced size, lightness and 3 independent exits to enjoy the satellite TV programs, both on sailing or at the anchor. Thanks to the most modern developed technologies applied by Glomex, the vision of TV programs during the holidays can not be beaten. DVB (Digital Video Broadcast), NIT (Network Information Table) and EGS (Electronic Gyro - Stabilized) are three high technology components that can be found on the Glomex satellite TV antennas. It is supplied with a control unit with an LCD display that shows the antenna status and allows multi-satellite operation by NIT with 7 satellites already pre-charged.
Features:
- Electronic Gyro-Stabilised Auto-Tracking Dish: Provides very fast satellite acquisition and reliable tracking both at sea and anchor
- Coaxial Rotating Joint: Allows infinite rotation of dish and removes the need for the dish to perform an ‘unwrapping’ function. Constant uninterrupted television can be received regardless of changes in direction.
- NIT, Network Information Table: Easy to use control unit allowing multisatellite operation with satellite identification using NIT.
- Easy Installation: All cables, power and control unit supplied as standard. Single coax cable run from dish to control unit.
- 2 Year Warranty
