Silva S12 Marine Handheld VHF Radio
The Silva S12 is a fully waterproof, compact marine handheld radio operating on all current marine channels including M1 and M2. It has the capability to scan any number of user-programmed channels, plus the ability to prioritise channel 16. The S12 has a Nickel Metal Hydride battery (NiMh) that lasts longer and doesn't have the memory problems associated with other battery types. This means users do not need to fully charge or discharge the radio between uses.
