The new apparent wind revolution of performance racing dinghies and sportsboats was born out of the pinching drive force to 'the planing drag ratio' and the demand for equal racing for different weight crews; both greatly influenced by the Skiffs and Int. 14s. This has introduced new demands on gear which essentially means higher loads, smaller high tech ropes and faster response. The result is a fundamental change in product innovation. Changes like this only happen once in a decade and RWO have responded by producing new blocks, cleats and tiller extensions, utilising Hi-tech material & CAD technology, many of which have exclusive design features and patents pending.
